After a gorgeous week where Ohioans enjoyed 70+ degree weather, it plummeted in time for Joey and Nicole’s wedding on April 20th. But as the priest said, it is a sign of hope that the flowers are blooming and the trees are budding in the face of a seemingly endless winter; and it is a sign of hope that in a world where there is such suffering young couples are standing strong together, proclaiming their love and exchanging their vows. (This was also the same week that the Boston Marathon bombings took place so it was especially powerful). Joey and Nikki were surrounded by friends and family as they commited to one another at Queen of Heaven in Green. In between the ceremony and reception, the bridal party gathered for food and photos at the bride’s parents’ home before celebrating the night away at Guy’s Party Center. Gotta say that kicking the dance portion off with a full party Harlem Shake was a great start to what was a very fun evening.
Congrats!
